From Dublin International Airport (DUB): Distance to the Best Western Academy Plaza Hotel is 10 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Airlink buses numbers 747 and 748 connect the airport to the hotel, and depart every 15 minutes. Tickets can be bought from the driver and the single fare is approximately 5 EUR. A 24 hour service to central Dublin and Dublin South is offered by Aircoach. Local bus services regularly depart from the arrivals terminal, connecting to destinations throughout the city and its suburbs. Taxis cost approximately 25 EUR to the hotel. Getting around. Dublin city centre and Temple Bar's cobbled streets can easily be explored on foot. Dublin's extensive double decker bus system and tram network operate throughout the city and the suburbs. Taxis are available at ranks, and can also be hailed on the street. Parking in the city centre is limited and expensive, but a car is recommended for exploring further afield.
