Dublin International Airport (DUB) is eight kilometres away and the airport bus stops outside the hotel. Hotel Features. Set in a townhouse dating back to 1752, the Best Western Royal Dublin Hotel combines original features with contemporary comforts. Swing doors lead into the spacious marble floored lobby with black front desk and stained glass ceiling windows. The Georgian style resident's lounge has 18th century floral plasterwork and large sash windows.
Café Royal Brasserie at the Royal Dublin Hotel is a wood panelled Art Deco style restaurant with tables made up in white linen. It offers full Irish breakfast, and formal lunch and dinner from its eclectic menu. The popular Raffles Bar has a central fireplace, stained glass windows depicting famous Irish writers, and big screen televisions. It serves breakfasts, carvery lunches, and bar snacks in the evening.
There are several meeting rooms at the hotel and two banqueting rooms for up to 160 people. There is a limited number of complimentary parking spaces on site.

From Dublin International Airport (DUB): Distance to Best Western Royal Dublin Hotel is eight kilometres, approximately 35 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Number 747 and 748 Airlink buses connect the airport to Dublin city centre, and depart every 15 minutes. Tickets can be bought from the driver and the single fare is about 5 EUR. A 24 hour service to central Dublin and Dublin South is offered by Aircoach. Local bus services regularly depart from the arrivals terminal, connecting to destinations throughout the city and its suburbs. Taxis cost about 18 EUR 20 EUR to the city centre. Prices are all subject to change. There are some complimentary parking spaces at the hotel.
Getting around. The Best Western Royal Dublin Hotel is on O'Connell Street. Dublin city centre and Temple Bar's cobbled streets can easily be explored on foot. Dublin's extensive double decker bus system and tram network operate throughout the city and the suburbs. Taxis are available at ranks, and can also be hailed on the street. Parking in the city centre is limited and expensive, but a car is recommended for exploring further afield.
Driving directions. From Dublin International Airport: Follow the M1 motorway toward the city centre. The M1 continues into Drumcondra Road, which will take you to the Best Western Royal Dublin Hotel in O'Connell Street.
