Location. The 18th century Regency Hotel is located in Dublin, Ireland, within six kilometres of Trinity College and Temple Bar. Dublin International Airport (DUB) is six kilometres away. Hotel Features. The Regency Hotel occupies a four storey, former stately home, and an adjoining six storey wing built in the 1980s. The door of the old house leads to a large hall filled with oil paintings, period style furniture and mahogany staircase flanked by statues. The hotel has complimentary onsite parking.
The Regency Hotel's informal restaurant, Shanard, serves traditional food as well as Asian and Mediterranean influenced dishes. The Residents Bar has a traditional pub atmosphere, televised sports, music three nights a week and a range of bar food and drinks. Coffee is served in the lounge.
There are five conference and banqueting rooms, accommodating up to 350 people. The largest of these incorporates the conservatory.

From Dublin International Airport (DUB): Distance to the Regency Hotel is six kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Number 747 and 748 Airlink buses connect the airport to Dublin city centre, and depart every 15 minutes. Tickets can be bought from the driver and the single fare is about 5 EUR. A 24 hour service to central Dublin and Dublin South is offered by Aircoach. Local bus services regularly depart from the arrivals terminal, connecting to destinations throughout the city and its suburbs. Taxis cost about 18 EUR 20 EUR to the city centre. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The Regency Hotel is six kilometres from central Dublin. Dublin city centre and Temple Bar's cobbled streets can easily be explored on foot. Dublin's extensive double decker bus system and tram network operate throughout the city and the suburbs. Taxis are available at ranks, and can also be hailed on the street. Parking in the city centre is limited and expensive, but a car is recommended for exploring further afield. The hotel has complimentary onsite parking.
